The Ginger Pear Pistachio Cake Mix makes a spicy, ginger laced cake, dotted with slices of pear, flecks of pistachio and drizzled with a silky ginger glaze, which is loved by adults and children alike. And just like our other cake mixes it's vegan-friendly and made with spelt flour. Just add milk, butter / oil and pears!  


TIPS AND TRICKS ON THE GINGER PEAR PISTACHIO MIX

INSIDE YOU'LL FIND

Ginger Cake Mix
-A blend of ancient grain spelt flour, blanched ground almonds, cane sugar, pure ground ginger, baking powder and a pinch of salt

Ginger Glaze Mix
-Pure ground ginger blended with double-milled icing sugar

Pistachios
-Premium raw pistachios

Non-stick cake tin liner
-For an 8 inch (or 20cm) cake tin - so there’s no need for greasing!

 

ALL YOU'LL NEED

Milk
-280ml or just over a cup of regular or any dairy-free milk

Butter or light-flavoured oil
-115g of butter or ½ a cup of coconut oil or rice bran oil

Pears
-2-3 ripe pears or 200g of tinned pears

8 Inch (20cm) Cake tin
-This mix will also make 9 - 12 cupcakes
