I wrote this recipe for my weekly dessert column in the newspaper and when I tasted some post-photoshoot, I knew this was gonna have to feature as a Cake of the Month. For me, it has everything that makes a cake good - the sweet and sour Black Doris plums meld into the buttery cake which is fortified with 70% cocoa Callebaut dark chocolate ganache and topped with crunchy toasted hazelnuts.
